All in a day in SA

February 2, 2007 at 3:02 pm (Uncategorized)

This has been a mad week. We’ve seen four arrogant assholes – the Waterkloof Four – get the punishment they deserve (what do the folks say? “we don’t care about the sentence, we will appeal”). For those who don’t know, these spoilt brats beat a homeless man to death. No reason; simply because they could. Looking into their rich, conceited faces made me want to throw up every time I saw it. Now, they’ve been given hefty sentence. They’ll probably get a lesser sentence on appeal so I suppose there’s no reason to get excited. But enough of them.
Two murders this week: Adelaide Tambo and David Rattray. I will say a fond farewell to Mama Tambo and not even comment on the second. It’s simply too awful to think “He’s just another one”.
The last thing I want to mention is the little group of crazy people who gathered outside Parliament in Cape Town yesterday. As we approached in our little car we tried to figure out what was going on. When I checked the posters I nearly died. Who the hell do these people think they are to protest about a woman’s right about her own sexuality…? I will continue on this thread soon. I am simply too outraged to continue right now. But do think about it. Until next time…

Was Adelaide Tambo murdered? I thought she died of natural causes. Enlighten me please!

Sorry Norway. Adelaide wasn’t murdered. She died of natural causes. I was supposed to write two deaths this week – not two murders. Thanks for pointing it out.
